About this pattern
The Humla Romper is made for hot summer days and works for pregnant and non-pregnant bodies alike. At first glance it looks like a short dress, but as a romper it's more comfortable to wear. It has generous ease and feels airy, with elastic in the upper bust channel for an easy fit. An optional low-support bralette adds security or holds nursing pads in place; its dart reduces bulk if worn on its own, and is optional too. To make it beginner friendly, skip the pockets and bralette. View A is the romper, View B is a top, View C is the bralette alone. Techniques: French seams, in-seam French seam pockets, elastic channel, turning thin straps. Fabric suggestions: woven fabrics, especially mid-weight linen. Seersucker, cotton poplin or rayon/Tencel also work well. Includes illustrated sewing instructions and pattern files.
